The Contest, “#LoveInTheAir” is open to all people who are citizens of India and are 18 years of age or above (“Participant”).These terms and conditions contained herein govern the terms of participation in the Contest. Participants entering the said Activity shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions. SHIL reserves all rights to execute the winner selection process. No one is authorized to challenge the decision made by the final authority.

CONTEST MECHANISM:
1) HOW TO PARTICIPATE –
1. Anyone who is 18 years of age or above and has a social media presence can participate in this Contest.
2. The contest is free. However, the Participant shall have to pay their respective access provider/internet service providers, the applicable charges for accessing the internet.
3. The copyright liability of Selfie, if any, shall be borne by the Participant alone.
4. Participant warrants that the content he/she submits does not infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual or proprietary or privacy right of any party or individual. Participant agrees not to
(i) Post content which is deliberately intended to upset or harm other users;
(ii) Use the opportunity to post or otherwise transmit content that victimizes, harasses, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of any impermissible classification, including, without limitation, religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, colour, creed, ethnicity, national origin, citizenship, age, marital status, military status or disability;
(iii) post or otherwise transmit any content that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of the Application or any telecommunications equipment;
(iv) Upload or otherwise transmit any content, or take any other actions with respect to Participant’s use of the contest, that would constitute, or would otherwise encourage, criminal conduct or give rise to civil liability;
(v) Use the contest for commercial purposes, including, without limitation, submitting any material to solicit funds or to promote, advertise or solicit the sale of any goods or services.
5. Invalid entry or abusive entry or incomplete entry(s) may be rejected. The decision of any entry due to its invalidity or abusive nature or incompleteness shall be solely decided by SHIL and the participant will be disqualified without any justification provided, and any such decision shall be final and binding on the said Participant.
6. The Participants to the Contest agree that SHIL have the power to remove any uploaded content deemed inappropriate from their own web and social media assets either itself or with the support of the website operator or by taking appropriate legal action (civil or criminal).
7. All SHIL employees, distributors, channel Partners, Directors, or any other person likewise directly related to SHIL or this promotional event, their close relatives are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
8. Participation time: This is a limited period Contest and lasts till the time SHIL doesn’t announce its closure.
9. Notwithstanding anything stated herein, SHIL reserves the right to stop the Contest at any time and/or change, modify, withdraw, or extend the Contest without any prior notice and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. SHIL reserves the right to withdraw/change / modify the content and terms and conditions at its own
discretion and without any prior notice and / or assigning any reason. Therefore, Participants are advised to regularly to check for any amendment(s) or update(s) of the terms and conditions before participating in the contest.
10. The participants, who win this contest as Winners, then such Winners will be communicated through an e-mail or phone call or social media message. Neither during the contest or thereafter, shall the Participant be entitled to hold SHIL responsible for any loss occurred during the participation, as Participant understands all the terms and
conditions of this Contest and has entered this Contest at its own sole discretion and free will.
11. Winner, if required by SHIL, agrees to participate in image photos, video shoots and/or film shooting sessions so required for any SHIL’s advertisement, promotional or otherwise related purpose. Winner hereby agree that SHIL shall have the right to use such photos, videos and/or films in any medium of communication (including, without
limitation, print, press, internet or any multimedia medium) and in any reasonable manner as SHIL may decide in its sole discretion. SHIL shall ensure that such use of Winner image photo, video and/or film shall be free from any vulgar, obscene, misleading, defamatory, derogatory or libelous depiction. The names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail identities and/or photographs of Winner may be used by SHIL for sending out commercial information and/or for other commercial, publicity or promotional purposes.
12. By participating in Contest, subscriber-participant warrants that they agree with the terms and conditions and that he/she is participating in this Contest voluntarily and all information submitted by him/her/it, is true, current and complete.
13. SHIL at its own discretion can accept or reject any entries /winner and no objection in this regard shall be entertained including but not limited to non-compliance with conditions, lack of subscriber address verification, ID verification or failure to comply with the terms and conditions stated herein, etc.
14. SHIL at its own discretion can accept or reject any entries /Winner and no objection in this regard shall be entertained including inability to contact the Winner, incorrect phone number, incorrect email id, or incorrect address or failure to comply with the terms and conditions stated herein, etc. If the winner is not contactable on mobile number or email and no revert from the winner is received within One (24hrs) day after first attempted notification, SHIL may at its sole discretion give the winning prize to the next declared Winner and the original winner’s entitlement to the prize will lapse.
15. Prizes, if any received under Contest by any winning Participant cannot be transferred to any other person.
16. Prize is not cashable by Winner. All applicable government taxes/duties if any on prizes are to be borne by the winner(s).
17. All decisions of SHIL in relation to the Contest shall be final and binding upon participant and Winners. No correspondence or objection shall be entertained in this regard.
18. Participant has read and agreed to all the terms and conditions of this Contest with his/her free will.
19. Contest shall be subject to the laws of India.
20. All or any dispute arising hereof shall be subject to the court’s jurisdiction of Haryana.
21. Notwithstanding anything stated herein, SHIL shall not be liable for any failure to perform any or all of its obligations here under is due to or attributable to acts, events, omissions or accidents beyond the reasonable control of SHIL, including but not limited to act of God, fire, lockout, strike or other official labour dispute, union problem, riot or civil commotion, terrorism, satellite failure, failure of technical facilities act of public
enemy, enactment, rule or order or act of government.
22. SHIL shall reserve the right to use all data, material etc. received from participants as part of this Contest as it may deem fit. The winner(s) will also be required to participate in promotional Activities/events organized by and as and when required at the discretion of the SHIL.
23. Participant(s) who breach the terms, in any manner, shall be disqualified from the Activity and SHIL may take legal action against them.
24. SHIL expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied and shall not be responsible for sub-standard quality or any defects of any nature in the Prize/product supplied by manufacturers, including any damages done in transit. Any claim in respect of any product is a subject matter of the product manufacturer and all enquiries for warranty / defect related claims or disputes shall be directly settled between the Winner and the manufacturer.
25. This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter or any other social media platforms. Participant(s) are providing their picture/information to the Company and not to Facebook, Twitter or Social Media voluntarily. The Company shall reserve the right to use all data, material etc. received as part of this Contest as it may deem fit for its future promotions without any consideration and the Participant(s) shall have no claim or objection and/or dispute in this regard. SHIL can ask the winner to generate additional content for SHIL’s social handles.
26. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to promoting these terms and condition shall prevail.
27. SHIL will in no event be liable for any damages – direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential arising out of the Contest or use of the prizes given through the Contest.
28. To participate in the Contest, the Participant has to follow the following steps as detailed herein below:
a) Follow all the social media handles of Hindware Appliances.
b) Start your post/story with #LoveInTheAir tag us.

2) FINALISTS’ SELECTION CRITERIA – The sole discretion of Finalists’ selection resides with SHIL LTD. The entries would be judged on the basis of the justification of your answer.
1. Mandatory usage of #LoveInTheAir with your answer.
2. Every post must be a Public Post.
3. Participation should be genuine, unique and not in violation of any of the terms stated
above in section 1’d.’
4. The entry is not in violation of any state or union territory under Indian law.
5. The content should not be in violation of any social media policies.
6. Any comment must not contain any inappropriate content in the picture or text.
7. SHIL doesn’t authorize anyone to challenge this process.

3) WINNER SELECTION CRITERIA – The sole discretion of winner selection resides with SHIL the mechanism for selection will be based on the quality and uniqueness of the content. The process will be undertaken as follows:
1. SHIL will select one winner from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram based on compliance to the conditions mentioned in section 2 ‘a’ to ‘f.’
2. In case the winning entry doesn’t contain appropriate data or the winner doesn’t respond within the stipulated time to claim the prize, the next appropriate entry (in an increasing order) becomes the winner.
3. In unforeseen circumstances where the prize remains unclaimed for 48 hours, SHIL will have the authority to declare a winner as per they deem fit.
4. SHIL doesn’t authorize any legal entity to challenge the filtering process.
