1.Hindware Kitchen Ensemble defines life of product as 10 years. Lifetime warranty (hereinafter referred to as LTW) is applicable on selected models and applicable on motors.
2.LTW extends only to the first consumer purchaser, and is not transferable.
3.To avail life time warranty consumer has to call HindwareCustomer care Toll free number 1800 103 3300 / 1800 3010 2273 for installation.
4.To avail LTW, the chimney should be serviced at least once a year by the company technician.
- The customer can also purchase HindwareKitchen Ensemble Care Plus program after expiry of product warranty.
- This covers one major and two minor chimney cleaning service and free breakdown service visits as and when required.

5.LTW is not applicable
- a.If product is not installed by authorised service person / authorised service provider
- b.Damages or problem occurring in product due to incorrect installation done by unauthorised personnel.
- c.On consumable parts like charcoal filters, filters, candles, incandescent/led lamps and bulbs, switches and knobs, filter locks, oil collectors, glass, metal, plastic, rubber parts, outer body, and items subject to normal wear and tear due to operation.
- d.On altered products or accessories, meaning
- i.serial numbers or date tags that have been removed, altered or obliterated;
- ii.broken seals or that show evidence of tampering;
- iii.mismatched board serial numbers
- iv.non-conforming or non-HindwareKitchen Ensemble housings, filters, spares or parts.
6.LTW is also not applicable on defects or damage that result from :
- a.Improper operation, storage, misuse or abuse, accident or neglect, such as physical damage (cracks, scratches, rusts, breakage of glass etc.) to the surface of the product resulting from misuse/storage.
- b.In ducting mode, if the kitchen hood duct is used for exhausting fumes of other appliance / gadgets.
- c.Contact with liquid, water, rain, extreme humidity or exposure to acidic atmosphere, sand, dirt or the like, extreme heat or food.
- d.Use of the product for commercial purposes or at places like institutions, hospitals, community halls, hotels, canteens, cafeteria’s and other similar applications or any other abnormal usage or conditions.
- e.Attack of pests / rodents / birds making nests in the duct pipe or other acts which are not the fault of Hindware Kitchen Ensemble.
- f.Using of duct pipe not matching with outlet diameter.
- g.The use of non-Hindware Kitchen Ensemble branded products, recommended accessories, spares or other peripheral equipment are excluded from coverage
- h.Unauthorized service or modification, i.e., service, testing, adjustment, installation, maintenance, alteration or modification in any way by someone other than Hindware Kitchen Ensemble or its authorized service centers.
  - i.Erratic Electric supply: Any electronic part gets damaged due to erratic power supply improper electrical circuit.
  - i.Accidents : accidents as a result of following reasons:
  - ii.Accidents caused due to non-maintenance of the product are excluded from coverage. Fire in kitchen hoods due to non-cleaning of filters.
  - iii.Accidents resulting from improper/ incorrect installation
  - iv.Charcoal filters directly exposed to flame of cooktop / hob.
  - v.Customer failing to read the right usage of the product from the user’s manual & customer failing to understand standard features of the product.
- j.Wrong installation, gap between base of kitchen hood and top of Cook top/ Built in Hob not maintained between 70cm-75cm.
7.If any time during the tenure of the warranty it is found that the serial number appearing on the equipment is defaced in any manner and/or is not legible, the company shall have the right to discontinue the warranty with immediate effect. In the event, the customer shall not be entitled for any claim against the company.
8.All defective parts replaces shall be company’s absolute property. The company shall be at liberty to deal with the said parts in any manner deemed fit without any obligation to return said parts to the customer.
9.All disputes are subject to Gurgaon jurisdiction.
10.In case of any dispute the decision of Hindware Kitchen Ensemble is final.
